Peugeot 208 XY Concept - Geneva bound
The Peugeot 208 XY Concept – heading for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show – is Peugeot’s luxury take on the new 208. We’ve already had the concept for the new Peugeot 208 GTi as the performance extreme of the new 208 range, and arriving onside the 208 GTi on Peugeot’s Geneva stand will be the luxury extreme of the 208 – the Peugeot 208 XY Concept. The 208 XY looks like the second attempt by Peugeot (along with the GTi) to emulate the success Citroen has had with the C3 with the DS iconic badge, where style and performance combine with a lifestyle statement.
The Infiniti M35h Hybrid
We’ve had the regular Infiniti M saloon launched recently and this month has seen the release of prices and specs for the Infiniti M30d, the much needed diesel version of the Infiniti M. Much needed because without it Infiniti are probably dead in the water in Europe. But this is 2010 and car makers are obsessed with all things green.
Infiniti on Thursday released a first look at the JX seven-passenger crossover it plans to build at the Nissan assembly plant in Smyrna, Tenn. A concept of the JX will be shown publicly during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August, and the production version is scheduled to debut at the Los Angeles auto show in November. The Infiniti JX is set to go on sale in spring 2012 as a 2013 model.
